Session Title: Avoiding the Biodegradability Marketing Minefield
Bob Lilienfeld has over 40 years of experience in marketing, advertising, plastics, packaging, and environmental planning. He has designed and executed strategic marketing and branding programs for Dow Chemical, Eastman Chemical, ITW, the American Chemistry Council, and Pactiv. He most recently served as Senior Director, Marketing for the American Institute for Packaging and the Environment (AMERIPEN). Bob and famed garbologist Dr. William (Bill) Rathje wrote a groundbreaking full-page New York Times Op-Ed piece entitled 6 Enviro-Myths that led to the publication of their Use Less Stuff newsletter and book of the same name. Bob earned a BA in Psychology from Northwestern University and an MBA in Marketing and Finance from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management, also at Northwestern.
