Gracy Wingkono started early in her interests in sustainability and innovation. Her experience growing up in Indonesia shaped her love for nature, her drive to be curious and to connect deeply to the people, the communities, the environment, and the lives supported within them.
Gracy is a trained chemical engineer with additional study in biology and bioremediation, completing her B.Sc. at Universitas Surabaya (Indonesia), then journeying to the US for her MS and PhD at Georgia Institute of Technology.

A strong believer in the power of education to improve lives, Gracy recently reconnected with Georgia Tech through the Sustainable Energy and Environmental Management program and looks forward to utilizing what she learned to make a positive impact in the communities.

She champions and leads the work in transformational materials discovery and materials management - making impactful progress towards resilient, sustainable, and equitable future.
