In this presentation, Professor Edward Kosior, founder of Nextek, NEXTLOOPP Americas and COtooCLEAN, outlines the innovative technologies that are spearheading the creation of a circular pathway for post-consumer food-grade Polypropylene (PP)  packaging. Professor Kosior highlights some of NEXTLOOPP’s cutting edge systems and technologies that demonstrate the closed-loop recyclability of PP packaging materials, through to the latest breakthroughs in decontaminating post-consumer films (PP, LDPE, and HDPE) using supercritical CO2, a sustainable and highly effective process for restoring materials to food-safe standards.
