Tom Blaige founded Blaige & Company over 20 years ago and has over 30 years of transaction experience. The Blaige team has completed over 200 transactions and has visited over 600 packaging, plastics, and chemicals operations in all parts of the world. Blaige & Company is a “specialist” investment bank with a deeper and broader knowledge of its target audience versus generalist or “house” investment banks. The packaging segments represent our “power alley”, and we believe our M&A experience in these segments and their supply chain leads worldwide. Blaige’s valuable long-lasting relationships with potential buyers in this segment with established trust and mutual respect result in an impressive track record of 48% valuation premiums in the last four years.
Mr. Blaige has had a close relationship with The Packaging Conference (TPC) and has spoken at numerous events over two decades. Mr. Blaige is also active with many other prominent associations in the packaging and plastics industry. Blaige has been a strategic partner and speaker at the Global Pouch Forum for almost two decades. Blaige is a member, frequent speaker and sponsor of the Contract Packaging Association (CPA), the Western Plastics Association (WPA), and the Flexible Packaging Association (FPA).
