Dr. Abramowicz has over 40 years of experience in industrial research, including GE’s Global Research Center and 26 years as Chief Technology Officer (CTO) for Crown Holdings, and he retired in March 2024. With Crown, he had global responsibility for innovation and technology development across Crown’s broad business platforms, including a diverse range of metal packaging for food, beverages and consumer products as well as other packaging inventions.

Dr. Abramowicz received his B.S. degree in Chemistry and his B.A. degree in Mathematics from St. Francis University and his M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Physical Chemistry from Princeton University.
